US passed a bill in Oct to try and shut down the gaming industry. Which had a major impact on some poker rooms. Such as Party Poker whom closed there doors to all US residents. While others gaming sites have just excluded certain states. SuperiorPoker.com closed doors for only a short time, but they are not open to all US players. So if you looking for a poker room to play at, we highly recommend them. :)

About Online Gambling

Since late 1990’s online gambling establishment have been bringing entertainment to gamblers in there own home. There has been a lot of talk about bills passing to stop players from gambling online in the US. Just last month Washington State made it a felony to gamble online. ( if you live in washington - don’t play ). I find it quiet interesting the excuses you will here lawmakers say why gambling online should be illegal. It is addictive and people loose homes, families etc. Sure gambling can be addictive but what is the difference from having online gambling establishements or state lotteries? For that matter isn’t there a indian casino around every corner now? Plus Washington state itself allows poker room and casinos all over. So how can they complain about one form of gambling saying it is bad and not another? If they want to make gambling online illegal then make it illegal in every single form. Close down the tribal casinos, the state lottery, the casinos and poker rooms within the state. This topic really makes me mad when I see what a hypocrite goverment we have.
