Here are the lowest hands played in poker games.
A straight in poker is composed of five cards in order. An example would be 98765. A player has the option to play the ace high or low, as in AKQJT and 5432A respectively. Straights such as 432AK are called “around the corner” straights and are not usually allowed.
Three of a kind is three cards of the same rank along with two kickers of different ranks. An example would be JJJ74. Rank is determined by the triple cards and then by the two kickers. JJJ74 would then beat 99956, and JJJ74 would beat JJJ65.
A two pair is made up of two cards of the same rank and two cards of another rank plus a kicker of a third rank. An example would be QQ884. These are ranked by the higher pair, then the lower pair and then the kicker.
A one pair is two cards of one rank along with three kickers of different ranks, such as KKJ63. These are ranked by the pair, and then each of the kickers.
A high card, is a hand that does not fit in with the previous hands. An example would be KJ863. These are ranked by the high card and then each succeeding card.

Here are the four highest hands played in poker rooms.
A straight flush in poker is made up of five cards in order, all belonging to the same suit. An example of this would be 98765 of spades. The rank of a flush is always determined by the top card. This means that the previous example would beat a 76543 flush. A royal flush is the highest possible flush. This hand is made up of AKQJT. The ace can also be used in the lowest possible straight flush, 5432A for example.
Four of a kind, is four cards of the same rank along with another card called the “kicker”. An example would be 55553. Ranking is always determined by the quads first, so a 66664 hand beats out the previous example.
A full house is made up of three cards of the same rank along with two other cards. AN example would be 55533. These hands are ranked by the triple cards first and then by the pair. A 66622 hand would then beat the previous example, but a 77799 beats a 77766.
A flush in poker rooms is any five cards belonging to the same suit. An example would be K8567 of diamonds. Rank is determined with the top card and then the next cards in the hand.
